Not all vegan, not even vegetarian. One big change today was I only drank water, no other drinks. So that is improvement. Really need to get to store to stock up on some better choices.

I purchase Ozarka 8 ounce water bottles at Costco.

Did not have water early in day, due to long drive.

Made it to Whole Foods to shop to two recipes in Dr Axe’s Gut Repair Cookbook.

This article from Livestrong was in an email from them today. I am looking at the one month plan.

Lots of room for improvement. Some victories are:

  • No sodas
  • No juice
  • No milkshakes
  • No candy (unless you count the protein bars)

We made the Shepherd’s Pie from Dr. Axe’s Book. It was so good. When I had some later I reheated with some Daiya style shred cheese. It was so good. Wish we had more.

There was enough ingredients left to also make Cauliflower Soup from Dr. Axe’s website. (Ingredients from both recipes: carrots, garlic, onion, parsley, celery and used the arrowroot starch/flour in place of gluten free flour.) It was pretty good. Will have for leftovers.

Shepherds pie from “The gut repair cookbook” by Dr. Axe.
